Paul has worked in demanding environments from Antarctica to the Arctic. From an initial background in construction and roped access, Paul has a very wide ranging experience of working in the oil, engineering, science, manufacturing and film making industry sectors.
Paul is a Registered Occupational Safety and Health Consultant with Chartered Membership of IOSH and Licentiate grade Membership of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene. Paul has a science degree and a Master degree in Occupational Health and is currently Chairman of the Tecnical & Training Subcommittee of the Institute of Local Exhaust Ventilation Engineers (ILEVE).

Provider of LEV and CoSHH training accredited to the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
Represented IOSH on the Health and Safety Executive’s COSHH Control Stakeholder Group during the writing of HSG258.
Provider of Working at Height Continuous Professional Development training accredited to the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
Provider of IOSH and Environment Agency accredited Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for Industrial Stack Emissions Monitoring.
When not at work Paul is an international acclaimed mountaineer and 2 times winner of the Piolet d’Or the works most prestigious award for international mountaineering achievement.
Wally’s working life started as an apprentice draughtsman with a company manufacturing acoustic products finishing with a Full Technological Certificate in Research & Development, then returning to full time education studying Work Study & Management Services before becoming Organisation & Methods Officer. He joined Dust Control Equipment Ltd and Following a 2 year Training program became a field Sales Engineer. Wally has worked in local Exhaust Ventilation since 1975 and was Principle Consultant of IEC Consultants Ltd and is currently Managing Director of Flextraction Ltd. Wally was a founder of the Institute of Local Exhaust Ventilation Engineers (ILEVE) and was the first Chairman. He is a very hands on Engineer having designed and Installed LEV plant throughout the world and has been involved in LEV training for over 20 years.
Wally is a Fellow and Council Member of The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (FCIBSE)and a Member of the Institution of Local Exhaust Ventilation Engineers (MILEVE)
When not working, Wally has enjoyed playing squash for over 40 years, is a BSAC qualified SCUBA diving instructor, a qualified Golf referee and a past Club Captain.
